About Aleta Sloan, PA-C:

Meet Aleta Sloan, founder, owner, and chief practitioner for United Medical and Aesthetics. She attended PA school in Baltimore, Maryland, after obtaining her Bachelor of Science at McDaniel College, formerly known as Western Maryland College, in 1989. She graduated from one of the original PA programs in the country and at the age of 23 became the first PA in Eastern NC. She has maintained her privileges at Carolina East Medical Center for 30 years and has committed herself to serving her community in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Cardiology. With her love and passion for real food and running, and believing in her heart that it is better to pay the grocer than the doctor, she feels compelled to help anyone who crosses her path. Aleta’s training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Aesthetics are uniquely fashioned for you to feel empowered, healthy, and educated so you can achieve your goals. Whether it’s nutritional counseling using your own genetic information via 23andMe (a scientific approach to vitamin supplementation, cardiovascular health, immune functioning, and weight loss) or providing aesthetic services, she has the skills. Her love for Aesthetic Medicine has driven her to take countless hours of courses to further her education. She is now trained and certified in injectables such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Aleta is certified by Aesthetics Advancement (which is the leader and premier aesthetic trainer offering in-depth courses), Allergan Aesthetics, and Empire Medical. She has also invested in solo training with top Allergan injectors in North Carolina. Aleta is excited to continue her path in Aesthetic Medicine and recently added two of the top lasers in the United States for skin resurfacing and micro-needling with radiofrequency. She looks forward to helping you with all your needs!
